The property is located in the south west of France in the department of the Pyrenees Orientales, due west of Perpignan on the autoroute N9/A9.

Rue des Lauriers near Arles-sur-Tech is exceedingly well served in terms of continental travel and access because not only do you have the choice of multiple airports within two hours, including to and from Spain, but rail and autoroute stops are within minutes of the house.

Perpignan airport (45-minute drive) is served by Ryanair from Stansted or Luton,Flybe from Southampton or Birmingham, bmi baby from Manchester, as well as Air France from Clermont Ferrand, Lille, Nantes, Paris, Strasbourg. Ryanair flies to Girona from: Blackpool; Bournemouth; Dublin; East Midlands; Glasgow; Liverpool; Luton; Shannon and Stansted, as well as from Paris and a number of airports in Belgium, Germany and Italy.Girona airport in Spain is only an hour away and is a couple of minutes drive from the A9 motorway.

Barcelona Airport offers even more flight choices and is two hours fifteen mintes from the house. Equally, both Montpellier (2 hours away) and Carcassonne (90 minutes) also offer extensive air routes into the region, and don't forget, the TGV stops at Perpignan also, which is very reliable and sometimes quicker and less hassle than air travel!
